Again he hit the bottom.
The sorrow covered a spark in his eyes.

His whole life had lost its meaning.

Then a familiar voice caressed his ear.
He turned around and what he saw, knocked him down on his knees.
It was the friend who showed him the essence of all,
a man who had escaped the suffering.

He always found the words that heal,
his voice would even calm a hyperactive child.

“The greatest teacher is suffering,
through it one day you'll rise like a Phoenix.
We go through months, years, lives of suffering,
to finally learn that the answer is within us.

Now go home and live the life in the conditions you have chosen.
Don't forget everything you have gained here, never attach
to anything, it's like hunting for a rainbow.”

With all his love he hugged the friend a last time.
The boy knew that he would always be present,
but it was probably the last time he'd see him.

The next steps he took brought him closer to home.
